HERE’S AN ALTERNATIVE TO CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, VIDEOS AND ONLINE CLASSES THAT TRY TO APPEAL TO EVERYONE BY OFFERING GENERALIZED INFORMATION—INSTEAD OF PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION THAT ADDRESSES YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS AND GOALS.
This personalized program will help you move beyond the basics or literally rendering “objects” to capturing light and color, expressing your feelings and impressions to cultivate your unique artistic voice.
Through one-on-one sessions, mentoring focuses on your artistic path, and attaining the knowledge and skills that you need to make dramatic improvement at your own pace.
Mentoring offers the opportunity to:
--Establish your artistic goals, assess where you are, and what you need to learn.
--Break through stumbling blocks and limitations by learning concepts, principles and techniques and applying them to your artwork.
--Pursue a path based upon your artistic tastes, sensibilities and style, and your preferred subjects and media—rather than the instructor’s!
Mentoring is available to artists of all levels, from beginner to professional. $60/hour, 3 hour minimum ($180), pre-paid by credit card, check or cash. Typically, 45-60 minutes of the first 3-hour block are used for reviewing artwork and developing an individual plan for the artist. The rest of the time is spent in online sessions, reviewing and discussing the artist’s work, and related information. These may be spread out over several sessions, depending upon what works best for each artist’s development.
You will receive an email confirmation after your payment is received, and a list of questions about your goals for your artwork and the mentoring sessions. Artists email artwork to be reviewed, along with any other images or information that would be helpful for our discussion in advance of each online session.
